Cadillac — 08/05/25 – MacDonald Garber Broadcasting has announced new radio homes for both The Kingsley Stags and Lake City Trojans for the upcoming High School Football Season. Kingsley Football will move to New Hot Country 96.7 The Bull while Lake City Football and Basketball games will be heard on sister station 93.7 FM The Ticket.

“This move will provide both of these great schools added exposure for their student-athletes and an improved listening experience for their fans” said Vice President of Programming Peter Garber in a statement. “We’re thrilled to be able to make this change for 2025 and we thank our advertisers and the schools for their continued support.” The broadcasts will also be available online at TheTicketNorthernMichigan.com and HotCountryBull.com.

Kingsley Stags Football could previously be heard on 93.7 FM The Ticket, while Lake City Football aired on News Talk 106.1 and 1240 WATT in 2024. This is the first time High School Sports will air on 96.7 The Bull.

93.7 FM The Ticket is also the home for Detroit Tigers Baseball, Detroit Lions Football, as well as University of Michigan Football and Basketball. MacDonald Garber Broadcasting produces four weekly High School football games in total. Traverse City Central Trojans can be heard on 104.5 BOB FM while the Petoskey Northmen air on 104.7 and 1340 The Ticket.

Both Kingsley and Lake City will kick off their 2025 seasons on Thursday August 28th.
